Winter X Games 14: Colorado Gold Rush

Like the California Gold Rush, Monster Energy/Arctic Cat’s Tucker Hibbert was seeking gold when he rolled into Aspen, CO for the 2010 Winter X Games.  Hibbert was a favorite in the Snocross event and he delivered by dominating the race and re-writing the record books earning his fourth consecutive gold medal.

“It was wild.” Explained Hibbert when interviewed after clutching his Snocross Title. “We’ve been working so hard for this.  Four in a row, I cant believe it”!

Tucker now holds a total of 9 Winter X Games medals, 5 of which are gold,  the most medals earned by a Snocross competitor.  Since his 2000 debut, Hibbert has been raising the bar each year and elevating the popularity of Snocross.  Not only was Tucker was the youngest athlete in Winter X history to earn a gold at age 15, but he continues his quest for gold a decade later and shows no signs of slowing down.

Thanks to ESPN for the video of the gold winning run and post-race interview!
