Davi Millsaps earned his first career victory in the 450 class as he edged out a hard charging Chad Reed in Moto 1 at Budds Creek.
Millsaps has missed most of the season as he suffered a neck and back injury at the second round of the series. He has come back strong, picking up a couple of podium finishes at Millville and Unadilla, but Budds Creek Raceway would be the place he claimed the top spot on the box.
“It feels awesome to win,” said Millsaps. “It felt amazing to pull a big lead in the first race and hang onto that gap until the final few laps of the race. I had to ride strong if I wanted to win and that’s what I did.”
